MacBook Pro 500gb hard drive not working

2105/2016 MacBook Pro - not working. It was working fine until I tried to factory reset for saleand now I cant get the OS to install. Not smart enough. Every thing else is in great condition - the retina lcd display is perfect, no scratches. Light scratches on the aluminum body (bottom). Asking $250 obo.
