2005 Volkswagen passat

2005 passat TDI with the 2.0 BHW engine. car just had transmission rebuilt but now getting a code for short to ground on shift solenoids. Motor runs amazing. has papers and registration. interior is ugly right now. would be a perfect candidate for a swap or figure out the transmission issue and daily drive.
